My performance engages in recalling memories and stories of the past and of my Persian-Jewish culture that have shaped me and my perceptions of the world. In doing so, my experiences empower and serve as a protest to the nature of racial capitalism, while emphasizing the lack of understanding and healing that comes with the presence of social injustice.
