My project is centered around a month-long creative writing workshop I held for third graders. My performance puts their writing in conversation with my own creative writing as a way to explore the development of imagination. With my presentation, I hope to remind everyone of their childhood selves so we can remember the simplicity and fun of not taking oneself too seriously.

My name is Alexa Peterson and I am from Sherman Oaks, California. I am a World Arts and Cultures major, with a minor in English. After graduation I look forward to continuing writing and working with kids.
