Bored™ is a ceramic tile work that, through its presentation and construction, references and reflects my research on the commodification of attention and the value of boredom. Made up of 32 hand made tiles the piece measures approximately 4-feet by 2.5-feet. Printed on the tiles, using a technique called photolithography, are photos taken of the tile making process as well as medical and biological imagery.
